Serco Canada is looking for an Operations Manager.The Operations Manager must be responsible for:Coordinating the implementation of the current year of the North Warning System (NWS)Business plan 24/7 watch keeping of the NWS.Manage support center and control center managersProblem solving and trouble-shooting escalated issues for zone managers in the North and logistics supportMaintain authority on procedural functions within the Northern zonesMonitor sustainment plan (inspection frequency, refueling, customers site visits and engineering projects)Will work with personnel within multiple departments located at different facilities including program managers, sustainment/engineer managers, logistics managers, administrative staff and control center personnelLooking For: Ability to communicate and coordinate across multiple time zones and facilities in different locations through multiple toolsAbility to make decisions with limited information in urgent manners under time constraintsThe Operations Manager must:1) Possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in a field directly related to the requirements of this SOW;2) Have a minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience in their field; and3) Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing an operations or technical services function.4) Have a Level II Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance.**Serco Canada is using this posting for the purpose responding to a proposal.
