We are growing, innovating, and it’s our great people that make it fun to come to work every day.SPUD.CAis looking for a full-time, temporary leadership supportto support our current leadership team in the areas of Delivery, Warehouse and general Operations.Employees hired will provide leadership for one of the two areas:Warehouse:Plan and coordinate the daily pack line activities.Provide instruction and support to Team Members.Implement and maintain regular communication touchpoints with the team.Monitor and report on KPIs.Manage the scheduling, vacation and payroll for your team of reports, according to budget.Engage and develop the team through coaching, support and regular feedback.Lead with positivity and empathy, while ensuring that team members respect their peers and the requirements of their positions.Where required, assist in conducting disciplinary action.Help develop new procedures and improvements to current procedures.Additonal duties as assigned.Delivery:Organize and schedule all necessary resources required to accomplish activities. Coordinate daily operational needs with the Delivery Team.Plan and create the weekly delivery schedule based on demand to meet customer and company’s needs.Plan, distribute, monitor, and follow-up on daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements.Monitor driver and labor time and attendance, minimizing overtime and ensuring that drivers do not exceed limits.Ensure internal transfers and pickups are completed in a timely manner.Set and monitor productivity, service, and safety targets for each route and driver.Establishe and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with Company/H&S requirements.Problem solves as required.Work with Community Care and Business Development to create best possible customer experiences.Helps exploit any delivery bottle neck to increase capacity.Holds team accountable to KPIs and time windows.Additional duties as assigned.Previous leadership experience in operations (warehouse and/or delivery)Availability for temporary full-time employment.Exceptional communication skills including both written and verbal (in-person, phone, and email).Demonstrated ablity to problem solve and troubleshoot effectively, with an awareness of prioritization, time sensitivity, and the level of effect on the business and team as a whole.A Can Do Positive attitude to roll with the punches!You must have a love for food, sustainability, supporting local, and community!Salary paid bi-weekly.20 % discount on SPUD.ca purchases.
