Steel River Energy Servicesis seeking an experiencedOil Battery Field Operatorfor upcoming projects. Key Job Duties: Oil Facility operations including, sour wells, compression, sour gas processing, satellites and batteries Operation of artificial lift systems including pump jacks and submersible pumps etc. Issuing work permits and supervising work activities Operating waterflood/water injection systems Use production monitoring systems such as Scada (Cygnet) and production reporting (ProdView, EZOps) and other computer based programs and systems (Eg; Microsoft, Word &Excel, Roughneck ) Other duties as required by the client Qualifications: Previous field or plant operating experienceconsidered an asset Working knowledge of pipeline gathering systems, pigging procedures and operations Must be selfmotivated and possess excellent communication, time management and organizational skills Able to work long hours outdoors with a reliable and strong work ethic High school diploma or equivalent; and/or a combination of education and relevant work experience, an asset Excellent communication skills: written and verbal skills, listening skills, proven attention to detail, and ability to develop good working relationships Requirements Training & Certifications: Including but not limited to: 2 years Operating oil experience WHMIS 2015 Standard First Aid, an asset H2S Alive Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), an asset Ground Disturbance Level II Valid Class 5 Drivers License and ability to provide a clean Drivers Abstract Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Follow us on LinkedIn and Facebook for the latest job postings and news.
