We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic as a dedicated Occupational Therapist to our Rehabilitation and Acquired Brain Injury Services in Chilliwack General Hospital, located in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Chilliwack General Hospital is a 131 bed, University of BC affiliated community hospital offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, psychiatry, and a regional eye centre, as well as 24/7 emergency services with over 60,585 visits annually.

Build on your education & career experience as you:

•Deliver a full-range of occupational therapy services including: diagnosis and prognosis, treatment plans and intervention development, implementation and evaluation, patient consultation, and education to enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. •Participate in interprofessional research, special projects, program quality, and safety activities. •Collaborate with patients and their families/care givers in developing suitable care plans which encourage family participation in the development, implementation, and ongoing modification of the plan. •Establish a therapeutic relationship by demonstrating compassion, trust and respect. •Advocate for patient rights to privacy, dignity, and access to information by ensuring the patient’s choice and autonomy in decision-making and care planning. •Participate in team and program activities required to enhance and optimize the delivery of care and to facilitate evidence-based practice.
