Paid training for all required safety tickets.Flexible benefits program.Personal days and three weeks paid vacation.Guaranteed hours, industry competitive wage rates and opportunities for significant overtime.Paid accommodation (single occupancy) and meals while working and temporarily residing away from your home base.Fully-outfitted field trucks to get the job done.Crew Chief duties include:Leading a crew performing oilfield and pipeline construction and all other types of field surveying; Completion of survey calculations; andCommunication with clients, field representatives and site supervisors. :Degree or Diploma in Geomatics from a recognized technical school or equivalent combinations of education and experience.Valid Class 5 driver-s license (abstract required at the time of interview).Willingness and availability to work a varied schedule based on client demands. This may include working in remote locations, rotational schedules and extended work days (overtime eligible).Travel out of town will be required.Safety training (i.E. H2S, First Aid, ATV, etc.) is required and will be provided as needed.Compliance with our drug and alcohol policy, which includes screening, is mandatory.Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job.Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions.Familiarity with all facets of oilfield surveying; including but not limited to wellsite surveys, pipeline surveys and line locating.Experienced operator of Total Station and GPS technology.Preferred Candidates will have: o Experience in midstream pipeline construction surveys. o Multidisciplinary background including oilfield, municipal and construction surveys.
