As a measurement and performance advisor, you help design, institute, update, analyze and monitor strategies and solutions related to income and expense accounting. You help structure and track financial results, produce budget forecasts and improve financial performance.

You advise and assist dedicated clients and partners as part of key intervention and development initiatives in your field. You recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You develop recommendations, solutions and action plans in line with the organization’s objectives and priorities. You help solve complex problems that require analysis and an in depth understanding of the line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Highly developed interpersonal skills are therefore essential.

General Information on the Position

More specifically, you share responsibilities related to the budget process, tracking performance, analyzing trends and developing dashboards to support managers in your sector.

Main responsibilities

  • Diagnose issues, challenges, needs and problems to be resolved in your field in order to agree on the desired outcomes.
  • Develop objectives, solutions and action plans, and help implement them.
  • Analyze information, conduct studies, develop and make recommendations, and draft reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, accounting, finance or actuarial
  • Minimum of four years of relevant experience

  • CPA designation or candidacy (an asset)
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required 

Specific knowledge

  • Knowledge of management accounting concepts, mainly budgeting and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of Office 365 tools, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of Power BI (an asset)
  • Knowledge of the insurance sector (an asset)
