Do you have a background in warehousing and distribution?We are currently seeking 8 hardworking Material Handlers to join our team at Danby’s newest facility in Balzac, Alberta opening up February 2020!What’s in it for You:Full time, permanent positionDay shiftEligible for medical, dental and vision benefits after a maximum of 90 daysDefined Contribution Pension PlanAn outstanding culture where you are part of the Danby family!The opportunity to grow your careerProfessional development reimbursement up to $3,500 annuallyDiscounts on Danby productsYou Will:Load/unload product from trailers, verify quantities and SKU numbersUnpack units and sort accessories to correct storage locationsPerform test functions on product to verify operationsPerform physical / visual inspection of the product to verify operationsRe-box remanufactured product and skid product for movement to storage locationComplete documentation associated with product statusInput product status into ERP database systemMove product around the warehouse using a pump truck, forklift and clamp truckEnsure that product is stored with correct stacking heights, within the marked areas & report any safety concernsKeep general areas tidy and aisle ways clean and free from cardboard or strapping materials or product etc.Other warehousing duties as assignedYou Have:High School Diploma, GED or equivalentA valid driver’s license2 or more years’ experience working in a warehouse operating a forklift/clamp truckAbility to lift, carry, push and pull product weighing up to 50 lbs.An understanding of general inventory control principlesExcellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writingAbility to work well under pressureSafety mindset!Strong attention to detail, work ethic and positive team playerExperience using RF scannersComputer literate, proficiency in programs such as, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and NetSuiteExperience in shipping/receiving, reverse logistics & remanufacturing is considered an assetCandidates must be 18 years or older.Danby is a proudly Canadian company with a rich history spanning 70 years.
