As DNA Genotek’s Marketing Prime for Services, you will be responsible for the determining and executing the positioning and go to market strategies for our portfolio of laboratory and analytical services. You will work closely with our sales teams, including sales managers, sales operations, and product teams (marketing and product management) in the development of the necessary sales enablement tools, documents and demand-generation campaigns.The Marketing Prime is responsible for developing targeted messaging and for defining and executing strategic marketing campaigns. Specific responsibilities include defining and developing key marketing projects and deliverables focused on specified target markets; they will assist in all marketing related activities including market research, events, campaigns and content/sales tools development.Market AwarenessReview of industry, US and global, to determine shifts in the market.Work with the DNA Genotek product and sales teams to identify targeted marketing plans that promote our products/services.Timely feedback sessions with both the Sales team and the Customer Base to clearly understand perceived positioning of our services as well as our competitors (marketing effectiveness).Identify new prospects and new market opportunities by researching industry trends and positioning against new market competitors.Market Positioning of ProductsDevelop sales tools and positioning by market (e.g. competitive positioning, values and benefits statements)Work with the Product and Sales teams to identify targeted marketing plan that promote the relevant portfolio in conjunction with other DNA Genotek strategies.Develop marketing strategy/planning for the product portfolio.Create content for marketing collateral and other market specific sales support materials (web content, data sheets, FAQ, qualifying tools, RFP responses, advertorials, blog content, nurture campaign content)Market GrowthDevelop and execute strategic plan and programs to create market mindshare and to generate qualified sales leads.Define and execute market specific campaigns including – ie. direct mail, email and eventsUtilize strong analytical skills and thoroughness to track and report on sales and marketing programs. Utilize metrics to track performance and identify areas to improve effectiveness of future initiatives.Other duties deemed appropriate for a Marketing Prime.EDUCATION:University degree or college diploma in Marketing or equivalent combination of relevant job experience and training.
