Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we will accomplish together As Manager, Consulting Services you will lead a team that will interface effectively with our external clients as well as internal TELUS stakeholders. The primary objective is to orchestrate and enable the development of large, complex security solutions that result in winning propositions to our clients that address their business needs, and support TELUS business goals and imperatives. Your team is responsible for the development of opportunity pursuit plans by leveraging industry and customer insight to ensure TELUS has a winning sales strategy. Success will hinge on providing best-in-class business consulting expertise and solution development leadership to the account and stakeholder teams within a prescribed corporate Solution and Governance framework. Here”s how Engage in technical discussions with senior-level decision-makers within our midmarket and enterprise customer base Develop a solid understanding of the Cybersecurity team’s product & services portfolio and ability to influence it through the development of repeatable complex solutions Manage a team of consultants and architects responsible for designing solutions unique to customer requirements, after taking into account internal capabilities, service philosophies and governance processes Support of the Cybersecurity portfolio’s inorganic growth strategy through the identification of suitable partners and support of the due diligence process Knowledge of the financial, technical, contractual, and governance integrity of complex solutions Coordinating various objectives across multiple internal, partner, and functional entities is on-going and a daily activity Executive communications like storyboarding, storytelling, and translating the message for technical and non-technical audiences Develop lasting and valued business relationships with clients, partners and fellow TELUS team members Maintain high levels of knowledge and expertise regarding our customers, their industries, outsourcing, managed services and information security technology, and TELUS internal processes and procedures Provide guidance to Account and Specialist Teams in the development of deal specific pursuit strategies and support opportunity development with stakeholder groups You’re the missing piece of the puzzle Valued for your 10+ years of experience in technology leadership and consulting services Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor team members through multi-stakeholder scenarios Skilled in IT Architecture, business strategy, solution sales and stakeholder management Respected for your understanding of business operations, sales, finance, deal development and strategic drivers as well as customer goals, objectives and operations Knowledge of the benefits and risks inherent with information technology and security solutions Understanding of the challenges associated with a partnership in terms of revenue recognition and contract obligations Knowledge of the managed security services and outsourcing services marketplace with sufficient Information Technology technical and operations Knowledge to credibly sell and represent TELUS in the marketplace Familiarity with RFI/RFP, sales pursuit, and bid review processes, ideally in the public sector space and in support of federal, provincial and municipal requirements Post-secondary degree or technical diploma in Computer Science/Engineering/MIS or equivalent Great-to-haves Project Management experience and/or certification would be an asset Certifications/designations such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) or similar Who is TELUS?
