This requires collaborating with Fountain Tire’s marketing team, information systems, operations, learning & development and store managers. Provide leadership to the digital team through effective performance management and daily mentorship, as well as ensure a continued skill development to achieve success.Be dedicated to lead cross functional teams in the development, implementation and performance of various digital assets (websites, online tools, and web applications). Have a dedication to operational efficiency, investing in process and systems to improve business results. Ensure continued skill development to achieve success. Functional Responsibilities Develop business cases (using Fountain Tire’s methodology) for required improvements and digital opportunities to garner the organization’s support to investResearch customer requirements and expectations to help analyze, plan and design the best solution for current and future websites/applications. Balance risk, user experience and technical performance with business objectives and operations. continually identify technology gaps and requirements and work collaboratively with information services/customer experience and operations to implement, where appropriate, technology that enhances and promotes the business, if possible even with a sprint project management methodology. Lead through proper project management all developments, improvements and updates to Fountain Tire’s digital assets including objectives, scoping, scheduling, budgeting, implementation, and evaluation.Work closely with cross functional teams to review, test and deliver best practice features and improvements. Administer, monitor and report on web analytics. Maintain a grasp of our competitor’s digital landscape. Other Responsibilities Create, introduce and leverage new programs, processes or initiatives to drive business results.Participate, through cost analysis and projections, in the annual budgeting process.Work collaboratively with other members of Marketing and other departments to accomplish common goals and projects.Travel to various meetings / conferences as required.Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire.Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.The necessary experience, knowledge, skills and abilities required in the role:Bachelors Degree – Computer Science, Economics, Business, Marketing, Communications, or relatedDigital Marketing or relevant experience with a min of 7 years’ experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role. 7+ years of e-commerce website development with a proven track record of managing complex, multi-phase, potentially competing demanding projects. Track record of business case development and approval. Strong technical working knowledge of relevant and new marketing technology, ecommerce, website environments, and technology stacks.Proven experience with utilizing formal project management methodology on technical marketing projects Experience with digital requirements, optimization, testing, and quality assurance. Well-developed analytical / critical thinking abilities, trouble shooting and negotiation skillsStrong organization and time management skills. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with team members, associates and suppliers as well as leading third-party agency partners.
