Maintenance and repair of all food processing, restaurant related equipment, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, power transmission, exhaust systems, and associated controls throughout the park.This position pays $18.00-20.00 per hour.Maintenance and repair of all food processing, restaurant related equipment, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, power transmission, exhaust systems, and associated controls throughout the parkProvide support to the full time HVAC employees by independently overseeing daily tasks and assigned projects for the seasonal HVAC teamAssists licensed trade team members in the Utilities Maintenance DepartmentResponsible for the condition of the assigned areas and equipmentWill be instructed on the procedures necessary to safely maintain and repair the various pieces of equipmentRequired to organize, document and perform with minimal supervision after having completed the training and becoming familiar with the facilityAssist with other duties as assignedMust be available to work full time hours from March to NovemberHave previous HVAC experience or enrolled in an HVAC related programHave a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and good work ethicInteract well with other team members and accept direction from more senior team membersPossess a valid Ontario driver’s license (class G/G2)Provide own CSA approved work shoesHave verifiable past HVAC maintenance experience in a comparable environmentBe mechanically inclined and be adept at equipment repair and troubleshootingUnderstand standard practices and relevant codesPossess a natural gas and/or propane fitters certificate or other relevant credentialsBe comfortable with heights and ladder workAssist licensed trades people with installation, maintenance and repairs as requiredDiagnose and troubleshoot various equipment faultsUnderstand the safe and proper use of hand, power tools and test equipmentUnderstand various refrigeration and building control systemsMonitor and inspect plant equipment and systems for normal operationAvailable to work rotating shifts (7:00 am start) and have a reliable source of transportation outside public transitAble to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc)
