We are growing again! Our North York Manufacturing Facility requires Draw Bench Operators. Specifically we are looking for candidates with experience in Heavy Manufacturing, dealing with Complicated Machinery. This is not an introductory or junior role. Only experienced operators will be considered.

• Weekly Pay (every Friday)
• 12 Hour Rotating Continental Shifts
• Every other weekend is a long weekend

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent experience required.
• Able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job.
• Be mechanically inclined and able to lift at least 60 pounds on a regular basis
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Operate draw-benches in conjunction with reeler, speed feed Drum, or Stem Winder unit.
• Ability to change dies as required.
• Maintain the copper coating solution at the proper concentration, Graphite solution at proper concentrations.
• Control the application of the surface lubricant and or graphite/Alcohol, when required.
• Service the de-scaling brush units and maintain the correct setup and operation of green rod offset de-scaler.
• Follow the drawing lubricant schedule and report mechanical and electrical problems to the shift Foreman
