This position reports to the Northern Engineering Group Lead for the Ministry of Forest Lands and Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development. The position is focused on supporting BC Timber Sales supporting Northern BC Timber Sales Business areas (4) in providing engineering services and advice to BCTS staff for their effective and efficient implementation of their engineering program, planning, design, construction, maintenance and deactivation of forest roads and bridges. This position has a strong requirement for field experience and the ability to make judgement-based decisions relying on knowledge gained through considerable engineering experience in the Natural Resource Sector.
