As an integral member of the team, the Leasing Ambassador assists in developing and implementing diversified and innovative leasing strategies for the community. This role aims to maximize value by providing industry leading customer service to current and potential customers. The Leasing Ambassador will strive to realize efficiencies and ensure first class facilities are provided to all customers. Hours may be irregular to accommodate operating hours and will include weekends and holidays.Greet and qualify customers on the phone or in person with the view that the end result will be a new resident.Lease suites with specific leasing goals in mind.Ensure that prospective resident applications are completed correctly and in full.Oversee the signing of leases.Complete move-in/move-out inspections with residents.Maintain a database of contact information in YARDI.Collect for, monitor, and reconcile all residential accounts as well as recording and depositing security deposits.Prepare and perform daily/weekly bank depositsMaintain an up-to-date rent roll and EFT control spreadsheet.Update and compile daily and weekly traffic reports for marketingEnhance customer satisfaction and retention.Complete traffic reports, vacancy reports and related paperwork to the Property Manager.Utilize follow-up programs (i.e. thank you emails, calls, etc.)Participate in on-going sales training to improve sales techniques.Report deficiencies in market ready suites and in the building to the Community Manager.Visit competitive properties to stay informed on market conditions and complete monthly competitor grids.Ensure local, provincial, & federal laws and regulations are being observed at the community.Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.Ensure comprehension and compliance with all Westcorp Playbook policies.Complete other duties as required and assigned by the Property Manager.High School Graduate; Post-Secondary Education an assetStrong aptitude for sales and customer serviceProficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Knowledge of YARDI or SharePoint is an assetStrong interpersonal skills and organizational skillsExceptional communication ability, written and verbalHigh degree of professionalism and dedication to all stakeholdersCandidate must have excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize workMust be flexible and adaptable to meet responsibilities as requiredAppearance must be neat, clean and professionalSecurity clearance required upon offer of employmentPossess sensational customer service philosophyAbility to travel between sites and work from various locationsHighly organized, results oriented and ability to work in a multi-functional team environmentIn alignment with our Westcorp Values:Integrity, Vitality, Accountability, Results, Collaboration, Learning and Innovation
