Reporting to the CIO, the Lead, Strategy and Program Management will oversee Intelcoms Technology & Experience (ITX) organization strategic and long-range planning function. He will be responsible for overseeing portfolio reviews, ensuring communication of results to the CIO and the company executive team and support the development of strategies for all technology and experience portfolios. He will play a pivotal role in helping ITX in achieving goals and objectives by acting as the centralized coordinated management of the overall technology program and ensuring that we achieve the program’s strategic benefits and objectives. What is a typical work day? Lead planning and preparation for quarterly and monthly technology business area operating reviews with the senior executive team. Review IT portfolio financials and performance dashboards periodically, prepare reports, trend analysis and executive summaries. Drive, with the CIO, the overall annual and strategic planning process. Work closely with the Analytics & BI team to ensure strategic streams progress visibility thru innovative tools and best-in-class portfolio management methodology. Lead annual budget preparation and annual investment plan and updates. Manage project budgets. Create and coordinate fund allocation requests and approval processes. Set and monitor project budgets with the Finance department. Formalize and implement processes for IT governance (i.e. Change Management, Project Prioritization). Set project delivery standards, project management best practices and common practices across IT project delivery. Lead consolidated portfolio management and facilitate prioritization and approval of projects across all value streams. Ensure project portfolio is aligned with business strategies and manage the corporate process for developing, organizing and updating projects. Develop and execute change management plans. Qualifications demanded: Bachelors degree in business administration, finance or information systems. A minimum of 10 years experience in strategic planning, project and program management in an IT department. PMI, PMP or other formal Agile methodology certification (an asset). Strong strategic skillset and a forward thinker with an appetite for a very fast pace, innovative and changing environment. Capacity to see the big picture, identify trends when analyzing information and use learned concepts when problem-solving. Strong organizational skills to manage complex initiatives. Ability to interpret complex information and present it to a variety of audiences in the most appropriate format. Advance user of BI and data visualization tools.
