In order to continue offering the exceptional service we are known for, we are looking to hire Mover/Drivers to join our growing Ottawa team.

The ideal candidate is someone who has integrity, is energetic, and is committed to providing a high level of customer service during every client facing interaction. We are looking to hire 2-4 full/part-time employees right away!

Who you are:

• Punctual and reliable
• You have an excellent understanding of technology and are proficient on a smartphone/tablet
• You have at least 1 year of furniture handling and moving experience (preferably)
• You're flexible to work weekends as needed (especially at beginning/end of month)
• Physically fit – must be able to lift up to 75 lbs for extended periods of time
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience with a clean abstract (preferably)
• 1+ years of furniture moving experience (preferably)

Ideal hire’s roles/responsibilities:

• Perform a number of customer deliveries/pick-ups
• Ability to lift 80+ lbs consistently throughout the day
• Assist with loading/unloading of items delivered to client/warehouse.
• Complete pre and post-trip inspections of company vehicles and safely operate equipment
• Maintain Ottawa Moving and Delivery's Assets and property (facilities, vehicles, tools, and equipment)
• Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate fashion, to be submitted promptly to Operations Manager
• Provide exceptional customer service during each and every customer interaction
• Handle inquiries or concerns from customers in a professional manner and redirects where possible

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18-$21 /hour

Experience:

• Moving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Commercial Driving: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence:

• G Class Driver's Licence (Preffered)
