These include Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) and Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) offerings.With Kandy, companies of all sizes and types can quickly embed real-time communications capabilities into their existing applications and business processes.We’re looking for a very experienced Services Platform Product Manager, Agile product owner to join our Kandy Communications cloud services team to help us get to our future state communications services infrastructure. As the consummate product owner at the top of your game you will oversee service development & delivery from an existing set of service nodes, and driving the evolution of those services onto our new multi-service platform (which you will also have responsibility for). The current service elements include UC server, integrated messaging server, call management and routing servers, and network mediation. One of the keys to success will be prioritizing short and long term customer and product needs to develop and deliver a service evolution onto our new service platform based on Docker and Kubernetes. Also required is to go beyond standard product development to put the services directly into customers’ hands via Kandy’s New Service Introduction process – using DevOps and Agile approaches. Using an Agile Development methodology, you are expected to act as product owner for multiple scrum teamsDevelop and manage service strategies and initiatives – prioritize and manage service platform backlog along with roadmap and commitmentsManage existing KBS Administration Portal and End User Portal including UI/UX evolution and exposure of new services in the Kandy Business Solutions cloud environmentBuild business plans, budgets, resource plansDrive delivery of new features for UC call server, UC messaging server, mediation server and new Multi-Service PlatformDrive evolution of platform services to meet upcoming challenges and opportunities of cloud service delivery paradigmsMigrate selected services to micro-service platform establishing future proof, cost effective solutions delivering next generation of Kandy servicesWork with business owners to prioritize required technical enhancements and featuresWork directly with R&D teams to drive effective service delivery within established budget and timelinesPerform other duties as required and/or assignedEmployee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodationAgile product owner – certified preferred10+ years’ experience in leading product development in a product manager roleUniversity degree in business, commerce, engineering or computer sciencePragmatic decision maker with ability to trade off short and long term needs – keeping an eye on current business needs while leading the team to the futureExperience in delivering world leading products for enterprise communications – must have clear understanding of telephony services including UC, PBXs, Collaboration, …Broad experience in cloud services delivery and/or cloud infrastructure including but not limited to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, SoftLayer, VMWare, micro-servicesKnowledge of TMForum a strong bonusFantastic team workerOutstanding communications with customers, peers and key stakeholdersExcellent organizational and time management skillsEEO StatementAVCT is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law.
