We are seeking an entry level IOS developers with 1-2 years of experience to join their innovative and fast paced company. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail, communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to work in a team, meet deadlines and some travel.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform

• Passionate about learning new technologies and methods, staying up to date on modern frameworks & libraries.

• Possess the capability to become an expert in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for iOS

• Collaborate with the development team, team leaders, engineers, and domain experts in evaluating requirements and crafting effective, transformative solutions

• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Maintain positive rapport with all clients

• Ability to gather requirements and provide accurate and realistic project milestones and timelines for completion

• Successfully perform any coding tests or challenges as required

• Maintain open communication via phone, text, email, and Slack on a daily basis

• Complete project progress summaries

• Suggest new features and expansions of existing apps to improve performance and usability

• Deliver on time as discussed and clearly communicate any changes in deadlines as soon as possible

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field

• 1-2 years’ experience as an iOS developer

• Proficient with Swift and iOS ecosystem (CocoaPods, Carthage, XCode build system)

• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Blue Tooth, Core Data, Core Animation.

• Experience with Design Patterns such as MVC, Singleton, etc.

• Proficient in Swift

• Knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts and a strong passion for software development

• Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments

• Excellent attention to detail

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

• Familiarity with 3rd Party API integrations such as Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, Google Drive, Bluetooth, Keychain, etc.

• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards

• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

• Familiarity with continuous integration

• UX/UI experience app protype is a nice to have

• Willing to Travel (5-15%) in North America
