The Inventory Operator is responsible for the accurate and timely performance of Distribution Warehouse inventory functions. In doing so, they establish and maintain effective communication, organization, and working relations with Warehouse personnel and management. The Inventory Operator executes their responsibilities while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven Core Values such as Sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to your area of responsibility. 

• Restock picking bins from overstock as needed
• Fill Order Processor requests for product needed for their order
• Put away skids from the receiving area into overstock or the picking bin
• Double check that out of stocks have been received and restock accordingly
• Tag picking bin with an “out of stock” magnet if out of stock
• Place an “N” magnet on the picking bin if no product in overstock of code
• Transfer all bins in Syspro accurately in real time
• Battery maintenance as needed
• Daily forklift inspection
• Face product in bins as needed
• Organize and maintain all picking aisles, clear empty skids
• Organize picking bins to accommodate new product codes
• Count and verify skid count before putting up in overstock
• Communicate to the inventory supervisor regarding discrepancies with inventory
• Support receiving of finished goods from Manufacturing
• Verify all inventory documents including log sheet, transfer sheet, etc.
• Ensure that product information is correct on the document
• Immediately report any discrepancies to Inventory Supervisor
• General warehouse support duties including daily forklift inspection, battery maintenance, forklift operation, filing paper work, organizing warehouse, etc.
• Support warehouse personnel as needed and assigned
• Keep Management appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems
• Attend and participate in staff meetings as required
• Ensure that warehouse is clean, secure, and well maintained
• Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Technical

• Knowledge of Inventory and Warehouse procedures
• Forklift Certification
• Proficient communication skills both written and verbal in English
• Knowledge of Syspro, Microsoft Excel and Word an asset
