Wood is currently recruiting an Intermediate Project Engineer for the St. John”s office.Responsibilities:Working within a multi-discipline team of professional engineers and technologistsPreparing detailed Cost, Time & Resource estimates based on client supplied work scopesEnsure design, analysis and specifications are in accordance with applicable codes, governing statutory regulations, Wood procedures, offshore installation specific design philosophies and meet project objectives and industry best practiceAdhering to all Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Assurance requirements in accordance with Wood procedures and management systemsPreparing technical documentation and providing technical analysis to support procurement of equipmentSupporting equipment design, installation, start-up, commissioning and troubleshootingAdhering to project schedules and approved budgetsTravelling to vendor facilities, fabrication sites and offshore, as requiredEngineering Degree and Professional Engineer registered (or eligible for registration) with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador, with relevant work experience5+ years of relevant work experienceUnderstanding of design regulations for the offshore Newfoundland and Labrador environment is considered an assetAny equivalent combination of experience and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may also be consideredWood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
