The new position to be filled: Ingénieur.e civil.e inter mediary (permanent position)

The person participates concretely in the design of civil works – mainly containment works (landfill cells, basins, tanks, platform, storage areas, final recoveries , etc.). More specifically:

  • Carry out engineering studies for containment structures
  • Ensure site management and supervision
  • Develop technical solutions
  • Estimate the costs of solutions
  • Produce plans and specifications
  • Manage contractors
  • Ensure coordination between suppliers / sub- contractors
  • Prepare bids
  • Produce project schedules, work progress reports and final reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • 5 years and over experience in the management and supervision of field works
  • Experience in project management and team coordination
  • Experience in construction and environmental projects
  • Mobility and availability to work on various sites (in Quebec, Canada and internationally)
  • Bilingualism French – English
  • Ability to develop good relationships (interpersonal skills) and customer contact

Assets

  • Experience in geosynthetic containment structures
  • Experience in mining and industrial sectors

Place of work: Montreal or Brossard office
