We are growing and are looking to add an Intermediate Accountant to our Finance Team. In this position, the Intermediate Accountant is responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end schedules' as well as other accounting functions as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Maintenance of various account schedules
• Monthly accruals
• Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Regulatory filings (GST, PST, Excise Tax, WorkSafe BC)
• Bi-weekly payroll review (CAD & USD)
• Various financial reports as needed
• Account reconciliations
• Back up support for Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable

Who You Are And What You Need To Succeed

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Accounting degree/certificate or 3+ years of accounting experience
• Detail oriented with high accuracy in work
• Enjoys investigation and problem solving
• Understanding of general accounting procedures and principles
