Do you have accreditation as a Professional Engineer in Ontario? Do you have a minimum of 5 years Design experience? Do you have Design experience within the oil and gas, energy or nuclear industries? The successful Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer will provide advice and/or direction to Design leads, review designs and sign field changes. Provide support to EPC vendor by providing Engineering Chance Control guidance, provide active support to field issues and field changes, and facilitate a positive outcome with EPC (Engineer Procure and Construct) vendors. Carries out detailed construct ability reviews to develop the engineering design requirements, project schedule, manpower and procurement requirements Prepares detailed drawings/models of unusual, complex or original design for a complete phase of a project requiring the application of theoretical and practical design knowledge. Ensure all personal actions and design deliverables meet or exceed corporate, project and statutory Health, Safety and Environmental performance requirements; Complete assessments and report progress to the discipline lead; May assist or be responsible for project scope/cost/time management.
