Major responsibilities for the position will be to contribute to teaching and service in the College, and work with others on the development and implementation of the new PharmD curriculum. Activities will include teaching in the applied pharmacy skills and/or clinical courses with duties involving, but not limited to, course coordination, delivering lectures, developing cases and standardized patient scenarios, and teaching and evaluating students in performance-based and simulation lab environments. The successful applicant may also help to provide support for a PharmD bridging program and participate in continuing professional development. The position will also represent the College on relevant University and professional committees and associations.Qualifications :The successful candidate will possess a PharmD degree or BSc. (Pharm) with advanced practice experience. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, primary care or other innovative patient-focused practice. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills for productive teamwork are requirements for this position. In addition to in-person teaching responsibilities, ability to teach in a virtual on-line environment is an asset.
