Job Description

As part of a national sales force the Inside Sales Representatives will achieve results through targeted marketing campaigns to non-users and by providing excellent customer service to existing customers to cross-sell the entire product line and earn repeat business. Using a variety of methods such as telephone and direct mail, e-mail, web or social media you conduct outbound prospecting, prepare quotations and orders that provide material handling solutions to a wide variety of industries and businesses.

Goals:

  • Solve customer problems with the right solutions at the right time with Training Options: on-line software and classroom to certify employees on power equipment
  • Educate client’s on Johnston Equipment’s line of products in Western Canada primarily
  • Generate sales revenue and provides value to the customer
  • Strive to deliver an effortless customer experience and customer satisfaction

Activities:

  • Actively develops new customers through scheduled phone calls, e-mail, and emerging channels (social media, web, wireless, etc).
  • Independently moves prospect through entire sales process from first call to sales order
  • Proactively make volume outbound calls to close new business
  • Regularly receive inbound calls and listen to the customers needs and provide a solutions to improve the customers business.
  • Communicates with suppliers to evaluate product benefits, solutions and pricing for creation of proposals and orders.
  • Researches customer requirements and prepares pricing based on specifications to meet application requirements.
  • Prepare quotations on recommended solutions
  • Prepares in-house order forms and order paperwork.
  • Follow up on customers delivery and satisfaction
  • Develops and Maintains Relationships
  • Fact-based decision making
  • Manage a pipeline of clients through a sales CRM
