Our client is a decades old family business serving the Structural Steel/Fabrication, Woodworking, Machine Tool, and Sawmill Industries. TM8 is helping the find a Inside Sales Executive for their Delta, BC location. The client offers an excellent salary, excellent commission and a comprehensive benefits plan as well as outstanding growth potential and products in high demand. There are currently 2 positions available. JOB SUMMARY: Working from an office in Delta, BC and reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for selling large machinery to US based customers. This is a booming market with a lot of inbound inquiries and low-hanging fruit. The machines cost between $30,000 on the low end to upwards of $200,000+ on the higher end. Sales cycles can vary from weeks to a few months. This is a $100,000++ opportunity with huge upside and an excellent support network. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: -Achieving sales and operational goals -Marketing, Inventory Management, Producttraining -Handle incoming calls for machine inquiries, and perform outbound calls to prospects -Assist customers in fulfilling their parts, tooling and supply needs, generating equipment leads where appropriate in the process -Communicate with suppliers and enter purchase/sales orders to the companys ERP system -Track orders to ensure timely delivery, keeping interested parties informed as appropriate -Other projects/tasks as assigned Requirements Required Skills & Experience: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: You are a top sales person and can prove it! 8+ years professional inside sales experience in a technicalenvironment A professional and highly sharpened sales acumen, deep knowledge of sales process Solutions oriented and goal driven sales approach Quota based salesexperience Experience using a CRM / ERP to manage sales and opportunity cycles Knowledge of heavy or woodworking/metalworking machinery is an asset, but not necessary. Stable work history Excellent computer skills is a requirement, incuding MS Office.
