Job Description

York Consulting Inc. is a business-to-business sales development company in operation since 2000.

Our clients vary in size from small to multinational, specializing in technology, software, manufacturing and a growing list of commercial markets throughout the U.S. and Canada.

We target industries and companies of interest to our clients, and identify decision makers at Manager, Director, VP, and C-level. We discuss our clients’ products and services, and qualify the interest and opportunity. The goal is typically to set up a meeting for our client’s representatives.

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to generate leads and set appointments.

Most of our employees have been with us for more than 5 years. We provide on-going sales training, a benefit plan, and we have a promote-from-within culture with opportunities for advancement in full cycle sales and management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business-to-business sales, or 1 year in a business-to-business outbound call center.
  • Strong command of English – fluent and clear speaking, reading and writing.
  • Bilingual English and French is an asset.
  • Proficiency in a Windows and CRM environment.

Compensation:

Guaranteed hourly rate of $18.00- $20.00 (depending on experience) plus bi-weekly bonuses.

Location: This is currently a Home Based Position due to Covid-19.

The office is located near Finch Subway in Toronto.
