We currently have a superb opportunity for you as an Information Security Architect for our MEDITECH Expanse Program and project. In this key role, your knowledge of information security architectures and risk management and your aptitude for technical design, concepts, and methodology will improve Fraser Health’s information security. You will collaborate with internal and external partners on key information security technologies and be the resource on policies, practices and standards for the MEDITECH Expanse Program and Project.
Build on your education and career experience as you:
•Participate in the design and development of information security technology solutions to align with industry and FH information security standards; evaluates and recommends third party solutions, where applicable. •Acts as project leader on assigned projects by developing, in relation to Information Security, project plans and charters, identifying major project milestones, associated tasks and timelines, managing deliverables and evaluating project outcomes. •Join the team in leading the security vision and strategy on security architectures of applications, programs and innovative initiatives. •Provide expert technical security advice and consultation to internal and external stakeholders. •Monitor information security tracking systems, network and access controls and compliance systems. •Assist management and staff to ensure information security in considered in the design and/or redesign of programs, services, projects and initiatives. •Investigate information security incidents and provide information security training, education and awareness.
To join our team, we will look for you to have:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. •Five (5) years recent related experience in an information security role in a large complex multi-site organization. •Completion of cybersecurity certification such as Certified Information Systems Professional (CISSP), SANS/GIAC Security Certifications, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) program. •Extensive knowledge of information security principles, frameworks, standards, best practices, and industry trends; especially in a complex environment comprising multiple sites, various different types of end-users and devices, extensive application landscape and highly sensitive information. •Familiarity with information security issues as it relates to web-based applications, in particular Clinical applications including MEDITECH Expanse and related downstream systems. •Proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools including VPN technologies. •Knowledge of security architecture concepts for enterprise solutions including technical design, concepts and methodology; as well as the incremental roll-out and continuous optimization thereof over a period of time. •Awareness of threat risk analysis as it relates to information security risk assessments.
