Build on your career experience by:

    •Collaborating with operational and clinical leaders to provide leadership and expertise •Planning and implementing initiatives for policy and process development, education and implementation •Leading culture change initiatives designed to improve quality of care, service utilization, safety, and risk reduction •Reviewing and resolving impact assessment of systems and making recommendations •Providing leadership in the development of client safety and risk indicators, alert systems, and other risk prevention strategies •Developing communication strategies and engagement opportunities •Providing consultation, guidance, and support to interprofessional teams on policies and protocols •Ensuring IPC standards are implemented in compliance with local, provincial, and federal legislation

Your background includes:

    •Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) •Three (3) years’ recent relevant clinical experience in an acute or community setting, including two (2) years’ relevant experience in a designated clinical area •Completion of post graduate course work and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area •Valid BC Driver’s License; access to a vehicle for business related purposes
