Requirements:

• Industrial Millwright Certificate of Qualification (433A)
• Minimum of three years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Own tools required
• CPR and first aid certification is an asset
• Knowledgeable on ISO 9001
• Health & Safety Awareness and WHMIS Training

Responsibilities

• Perform work safely, to specifications, instructions, and using best work practices
• Ensure that the operating equipment is thoroughly inspected and perform preventative maintenance on a routine basis and all safety devices are in place and functional
• Apply technical skills to troubleshoot breakdowns and make the necessary repairs in a timely manner
• Interpret blue prints and plans, attend meetings, and complete requisitions for parts and supplies
• Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools, and measuring devices
• Regularly communicate with shift supervisors and machine operators regarding the status of equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and other work
• Perform the over haul of automated corrugated packaging equipment and preventative maintenance duties
• Perform equipment adjustments and changeovers as required
• Perform overhead work from ladder or aerial lift
• Attend required training
• Other duties as required
