Acara Solutions is looking for an Industrial Electrician for our Client located in Brampton, ON
Work with all electrical equipment ensuring it is maintained and in good working order
Be available and immediately respond to all machine breakdowns
Troubleshoot machine issues and correct the root cause in a timely and effective manner
Troubleshoot and adjust various drives and instrumentation devices such as encoders, transducers and thermocouples within a PLC control circuit
Size and run conduit and connect wires to various electrical equipment and plant components such as electrical disconnects, transformers, breakers and a variety of electrical controls.
Actively follow and participate in the preventative maintenance program
Contribute ideas and input to support continuous improvement within our facility
Participate in the maintenance and organization of spare parts inventory
Be willing and able to repair mechanical issues independently when needed
Independently design, specify and build electrical circuits
Monitor equipment performance, and document /communicate potential problems or areas of improvement
Pay and Benefits:
The Salary for this position is between $34.00 and $37.00 per hour

(Pay rate).

Required Skills / Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years” experience in a manufacturing environment as a Licensed Industrial Electrician
Minimum of 3 years” experience in trouble shooting and working with Allen Bradley PLC”s
Hold a valid 442a or 309a Electrician licensePreferred Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with welding and fabrication is considered a strong asset
Read and work with electrical and mechanical drawings
Dedication toward workplace health and safety
Demonstrated comfort working with the Electrical Safety Code
Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls and PLC”s
