Product Support Marketing Manager
Do you have high integrity and strong work ethic?  We are seeking an experienced Hydraulics Specialist who will be responsible for developing, establishing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives for our hydraulic products (HYD), including hoses, couplings, rods, cylinders, pumps and motors. The Hydraulics Specialist will also train, support and influence the Dealerships Product Support Sales Force and Second Level Dealers (SLDs), as well as effectively manage marketing, advertising and promotional resources and activities.
Key Accountabilities
Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromonts Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market
Communicate the value proposition of our products to our customers and PSSRs
Develop sales tools to support and promote HYD sales
Analyze customer data, current market trends and competitor information
Accompany PSSRs on customer site visits
Work with Cat reps to create marketing programs that drive HYD sales growth
Ensure branches have the proper parts, tooling, training, signage, promotions, etc. to growth their HYD business
Prepare branches for New Product Introductions (NPIs)
Identify gaps in coverage and acquire Second Level Dealers (SLDs) to fill those gaps
Manage existing (and expanding) SLD Network
Authorize program and discretionary fund expenditures and track program success
Train PSSRs on HYD Products and Technology
Train branch teams to use specialized tooling to build hose assemblies
Maintain personal product expertise
Work with Cat representatives to identify and resolve technical and product issues in the field
Key Qualifications
Post Secondary Education and 5-10 years industry experience in a relevant sales capacity
Proven knowledge of the parts and service process with a solid understanding of heavy equipment and hydraulics
Highly safety conscious and successful with continuous customer satisfaction and providing quality of services
Customer centric, effective team player with proven relationship management
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to maintain and grow existing and new business
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills with a mindset for continuous improvement
Proven aptitude for developing creative marketing, sales tools and training 
Solid business acumen to identify gaps and influential decision making skills
A mechanical/technical background with thorough knowledge of the heavy equipment industry, Cat and competitor product lines
Self-motivated, results driven and adaptable to changing priorities with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Willing and able to travel as required and possess a valid Drivers Licence and clean Driver’s Abstract
