Job Description

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Position: HR Coordinator

Schedule: 8-4 Mon-Fri; 35 hours / week.

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Contract: 6 months

Job Description:

SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Deliver Legendary service experiences consistent with the company's culture
– HR policy and procedure guidance and problem solving
– Act as a point of contact for HR Community and People Managers
– Lead escalations while coordinating between HR business units
– Review and support Employee Change requests
– Answer calls and email inquiries on how to process Employee Change requests
– Assist with payroll, benefits and vacation related inquiries and assist with bringing it to resolution
– Action requests being triaged from other areas within HR ie. HR Contact Center
– Proactively identify opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, efficiency and participate in the implementation
– Provide guidance and support with various administrative tasks

MUST HAVE:
– Min 2 yrs of HR related exp

-Must have Workday system exp
– Can work independently and within a team
– Flexible – willing to jump into various tasks; multitask
– Communication skills
– Professional, presentable
Administrative/data entry experience – 1+ years
– Analytical skills – reviewing issues and figuring out where discrepancy happened
– MS office – intermediate excel
-Onboarding experience

NICE TO HAVE:
– Peoplesoft and OR Workday
– Banking knowledge
