HR Business Partner
Our North East client is seeking an HR Business Partner to join their team.
Work strategically to engage managers and employees, to improve processes and, to assist with the long-term plan of each business unit that is consistent with our vision and core values
Ensure the application and understanding of HR policies, procedures and processes is consistent with our vision and core values
Provide day-to-day support, coaching and guidance to employees and managers on a wide range of human resource matters including policy interpretation, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, change management, employee engagement, communication and conflict management
Support HR programs that are currently in place, including recruitment, on boarding and, performance management
Other duties as assigned
1 to 3 years’ experience working directly as an HR Business Partner handling one or more business units or groups
Experience working with skilled trades people
Ability to coordinate numerous activities and coach management and employees within a demanding trades and field service environment
Advanced communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) with the ability to interact with and develop effective relationships with all levels of employees and management
Outstanding people skills and demonstrated success resolving complex HR issues; a working knowledge of employment standards and an ability to use such knowledge proactively while coaching managers and employees
Strong computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Keen attention to detail, a can-do attitude, with strong results orientation
Willingness to travel 40% of the time
