Job Description

O’Neill Canada is seeking an ambitious individual to lead our eCommerce and digital marketing strategy. This is a senior management position with oversight over junior members of the marketing team. The candidate will own all aspects of customer acquisition, brand positioning and product merchandising on digital selling channels including Shopify, Amazon and other channels. The ideal candidate will have had a successful track record in similar situations at previous roles. 

 

What You Will Do

  • Be an integral partner in growing O’Neill’s eCommerce business across many channels. You will be responsible to set the overall direction of all aspects of digital marketing and strategy
  • With support from our marketing coordinators, set quarterly strategy and lead execution of ecommerce growth, paid digital marketing, influencer marketing, social media strategy, email marketing, SEO and product merchandising
  • As an expert in the digital space, you have creative ideas for copy and suggestions to improve ad performance, customer traffic acquisition, and ecommerce conversion rates
  • You are big on using data to test and iterate ideas. You will present weekly/monthly strategic direction and KPIs of campaign performance to other members of the senior management team
  • As someone with an entrepreneurial drive, you will work on incubating and rolling out new digital business models and new selling channels
  • Help implement a culture of data-driven decision making across our company

 

Qualifications

  • You bring 5-10 years of experience in eCommerce and digital marketing across a broad range of specialties
  • In the past, you have been the lead person responsible for overseeing eCommerce or digital marketing for an entire product line
  • Experience managing eCommerce or digital marketing for a product line or business with more than $5 million in annual ecommerce revenue
  • Unwavering passion for consumer brands, outdoor activities, environmental sustainability
