What will your typical day look like?

The Greenhouse Lab Experience Designer co-leads the design, planning, preparation and delivery of Greenhouse sessions and offerings. They will also apprentice as a junior facilitator with opportunities to grow and develop their facilitation skills. Individuals in this role, under the guidance of the Market Lead, will work with facilitators, clients, the Greenhouse team, account teams and other key stakeholders to strategically shape the overall experience a customer has while engaged in a Greenhouse session. They will curate that experience based on the outlined objectives, and with the over-arching mission to create exceptional client experiences at Deloitte. The Experience Designer will play a role in connecting with clients and Deloitte engagement teams to collect requirements and deliver those on live virtual and in-person labs across Canada.
As a Lab Experience Designer, you will:

  • Collaborate to create and design Greenhouse lab experiences, including reporting and back-office experience design support and the highest level of hospitality
  • Follow the Greenhouse experience lab development process to ensure quality standards. This may require a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Identify issues/risks that will affect the operations of the Greenhouse
  • Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Calgary Greenhouse including proper scheduling and general orchestration of the development of Greenhouse experience labs
  • Brainstorm and contribute to the quality of agenda design and creative look and feel of all labs, event planning

About the team

The Greenhouse team is dynamic, fast-paced and thrives on teamwork. The core purpose of this role is to ensure we deliver an exceptional and differentiated client experiences for all of our visiting clients, including those at the VP or C-suite level. The Lab Experience Designer will work with multiple parties on logistics, planning, brainstorming and the creative execution of Greenhouse labs.
This Calgary based role, reports to the Greenhouse Regional Lead and works collaboratively with Greenhouse facilitators and the Greenhouse Managers to co-create best-in class experiences- in person, virtually and in hybrid formats.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are some who has:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a client-facing or customer service environment, within the professional services, event management or related environments
  • Solid understanding of experience design and user-centered design (UCD) principles and practices, and have experience working with teams to create experiences
  • Experience with project management, working within a larger team setting
  • Ability to build an understanding of data/analytics, innovation and digital principles with the ability to quickly get up to speed on Greenhouse specific technologies and online collaboration tools
  • High attention to detail and task orientation with an ability to problem solve. Ability to translate client aspirations to tangible experience design solutions within the Greenhouse program brand
  • Proven proficiency with technology and ability to learn about evolving technologies and collaboration tools; (lifelong learning mindset)
  • Understanding of data/analytics, innovation and digital principles with the ability to quickly get up to speed on Greenhouse technologies and tools (an asset)
