Job Description
We are currently seeking candidates to work as a general laborer for our meat plant in Newmarket, ON
*This job requires you to have a strong stomach*
Job Responsibilities
- Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards
- Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery.
- Assist other associates as needed.
- Take instructions and perform duties in a timely manner
- Weigh and wrap meat or meat products.
- Taking/throwing out the skin of meat products
- Taking/throwing out the carcasses of various animals
- Disposal of any unneeded animal parts
Job Requirements
- Must have your own vehicle
- Able to work full-time Mon-Fri
- Must have a strong enough stomach to deal with animal meat
- Ability to stay on your feet for long periods of time
