Reporting to the Manager, Client Solutions, the primary role of the Foundation Associate will be to provide quality client service in support of the Foundation’s administrative activities for Mackenzie, Investors Group and Canada Life. The successful candidate will be responsible for:Supporting and responding to internal and external client inquiries related to accounts, the foundation program, and policies and procedures as received through in-bound telephone calls, letters, faxes and emailExecuting client application and trade instructionsPosting transactions within our book of record and working with internal partners as part of the reconciliation processProcessing grant requests to charities as recommended by donors and the FoundationCorresponding with donors, charities and other stakeholdersEnsuring Foundation policies, procedures and process flows are updated and current on our internal sitesAdhering to internal policies and deadlines to ensure regulatory and corporate complianceThe following qualifications will assist the successful candidate in accomplishing these functions:At least 3 years demonstrated working experiencePost-secondary education requiredBilingual (French/English) is preferredSuperior customer service and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDetail orientedGeneral knowledge of Charitable Foundations is an assetGeneral knowledge of mutual fund operations and distribution channelsAccounting background and/or experienceIntermediate WordAdvanced ExcelInternal Applicants:If you are interested in applying for this position please direct applications on-line using the “apply for this job” icon located at the bottom or to the left of the posting.
