Job description Our Client is a leading Canadian financial services firm and is seeking a Financial Advisor (Director Level)to join their rapidly expanding team in the GTA. Your new role This role will report to the Regional Director. You will be required to build and develop your client base as you grow their portfolios, selecting the most appropriate solutions to meet their financial plans and goals. In this new role you will build trusted and diverse relationships with business owners, individuals, families, professional associations, foundations, based on personalized client service and advice. In this role you will work as part of the leadership team providing strategic direction for the region. In this role you will have the unique opportunity to lead and coach a team while building a financial planning practice. What you’ll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you will have minimum of 5+ years of experience with track record in the financial services Industry (Wealth Planning, Investment Planning, Mortgages, Insurance, Tax, Estate Planning) with a solid track record of high level performance and a proactive mindset with a real dedication to helping Canadians achieve their financial goals. You will also need Exceptional verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills along with highly polished presentation and consultative skills. The stand-out candidate will be an IIROC or MFDA registrant with a wealth of experience in leading, attracting and developing successful teams. The Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation or evidence of being on track to earning is a must.
