To learn more about who we are, visit www.Fcl.Crs.What you’ll do:You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Fertilizer Terminal. This includes, monitoring and operating terminal equipment to load/unload product, performing housekeeping/maintenance, and complying with safety standards. Work hours will vary depending on seasonal demands relating to the Agriculture industry. This position is seasonal in nature, to assist the existing Terminal staff during times of increased workloads.You will monitor and operate process equipment and computerized control systems involved with the shipping and receiving of fertilizer products. Report any quality concerns to Fertilizer Terminal Supervisor.You assist with rail operation by safely operating a track mobile and/or railcar opener to unload bulk unit trains. You will operate a front-end loader in a safe efficient manner to ensure proper fertilizer delivery.Assist the Supervisor in identifying and implementing process improvements. Monitor and manage maintenance schedules and quality controls.Participate in safety meetings, plant inspections and task observations. Ensure pre-checks and safe works procedures are in place.Why it matters:Our Agro team helps to feed and grow Western Canadian communities by sourcing and distributing products and services to local Co-ops in the feed, crop supplies and fertilizer business.Who you are:You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:You have a Grade 12 Diploma.You have a minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience. Experience working with mobile equipment as well as in agriculture operations is an asset.Must have a valid driver’s license, be comfortable climbing heights, and able to work around dust.Excellent communication and people skills, mechanical aptitude of terminal maintenance and repair, and knowledge of fertilizer agro products are an asset.
