Job Description

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be selling an e-commerce infrastructure software solution to enterprise-sized retailers, online stores, and distributors across North America. The base salary is $125,000 plus commissions.

 

THE COMPANY & CULTURE

Our client is a well-funded Series A and Y-Combinator backed company with a staff of 25 people with the long-term goal to go public. The co-founders are both ex-Shopify employees. Their game-changing and industry-leading logistics infrastructure software allows retailers, online marketplaces, and distributors to onboard third-party sellers to sell products through their websites and fulfill orders directly. Similar to Amazon the software makes it easy for retailers, online stores, e-commerce marketplaces, and distributors to sign up independent third-party sellers to sell products through their websites without having to build the backend infrastructure themselves. Current clients include Indigo, Stapes US, Ingram Micro, among many other large enterprise retailers, distributors, and online marketplaces.

THE POSITION

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be selling an e-commerce infrastructure software solution to enterprise-sized retailers, online stores, and distributors across North America. 

 

THE PRODUCT / SERVICE 

  • Infrastructure Software solution to allow enterprise retailers, online stores, and distributors to provide the ability to onboard and sell products from third-party sellers.

 

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS

  • Enterprise-sized retailers, distributors, online stores, and marketplaces across North America.

 

SALES CYCLE & PRODUCT VALUE

  • Average deal size $150,000 – $250,000 + per year.
  • The length of time to close is typically two to twelve months.

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES

  • 50% Prospecting / Discovery Meetings (No leads supplied)
  • 35% Preparing Proposals/Presenting/Closing.
  • 15% project / relationship management. 

 

TERRITORY & OVERNIGHT TRAVEL

  • Up to 25% of travel
  • Across North America

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $125,000 Base Salary, plus commission
  • OTE in the first year is $200,000 +

SUPPORT & TRAINING

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

  • 7+ years of selling enterprise software to large accounts.
  • 3+ year selling to retailers, online stores, and distributors
  • Selling deals sizes between $150,000 – $250,000+ USD per year.
  • Have worked for a Startup/Series A company.
  • Experience leading complex negotiations at the C-Level

 

EDUCATION

  • Electrical Engineering Degree, or professional experience equivalent

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Highly Proficient Computer Skills
  • Strong understanding of the construction process
  • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
