The successful applicant will provide market research services to an economic development/governmental client base. The Economic Development Consultant will compile lists of companies that match the preferred criteria of the client, engage in phone interviews with C-Level executives of expanding companies and help in completing meeting summaries. Responsibilities: The candidate will take on an important role and activities will be of vital importance to the success of projects undertaken: Calling and interviewing potential clients Understanding companies in the US marketplace Communicating with C-level executives and clients to collect information and provide guidance in a professional manner Understanding the clients needs and incentives Researching companies and contacts using various web resources Identifying indicators of growth in companies Understanding financial elements of a company Reporting and creating profiles for new clients Following up with clients to obtain feedback What they offer: Permanent position Schedule is Monday to Friday 9h00am until 5h30pm Room for advancement Base salary between $37,000 – $42,000 + bonus structure Benefits: Medical/Dental Dynamic/Diverse Environment Growing company Qualifications: University Graduate Sales/Lead Generation/Account Management experience Ability and desire to call 50-60 Companies per day Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) Strong time management and organizational skills Strong professionalism dealing with C-level executives Strong computer skills Microsoft Office Suites, LinkedIn, HubSpot, CRM. Knowledge of other languages (especially: French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Mandarin) is an asset Good understand of a companys financial reports Previous experience working in Governmental institutions is an asset B2B phone experience is an asset
