+ Ensure a full understanding and knowledge of all Global Payments eCommerce & Card Present solutions + competitors to assist prospective clients in making fully informed decisions about affected areas of their business
+ Research, network and gain insights on the fit of Global Payments solutions in an industry/vertical
+ Prospect, qualify and present value to potential merchants and software partners in the assigned vertical
+ Develop, document, maintain and grow a strong, robust and balanced pipeline in Salesforce starting from first contact to closing the deal at 3x the monthly target to deliver results
+ Source and engage new prospect clients, understand their needs, present Global Payments solutions and close their business
+ Work directly with merchants and potential partners to negotiate contracts
+ Establish a vertical strategy understanding of the strategic partnerships needed to build a strong network in that industry
+ Work closely with the Partnership & Relationship Management team to ensure newly acquired clients are smoothly integrated into the appropriate Relationship Manager’s Portfolio
+ Responsible for development/presentation (both written and verbal communication) of proposals/RFP
+ Monitor progress to plan as required, and prepare contingency plans to ensure objectives are satisfied
+ Maintain acceptable spread or profit margin on services
+ Effectively and consistently deliver webinars, blog posts and group presentations to drive the sales cycle
+ Develop and close new business opportunities with merchants $5M in annualized volume and greater.
What You Bring To The Table
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing and/or with sales specialization
+ Loads of experience leveraging “Top down” approach by selling to C-suite, using solution sales with an ability to sell to multiple stakeholders which includes negotiating, presenting and closing
+ Experience of exceeding strategic targets and delivering results
+ Proficiency in all aspects of the sales cycle, especially qualifying high value accounts
+ Ability to quickly understand products and effectively identify how it can provide value to a prospective customer
+ Strategic thinker who thrives on accountability and has an ability to adapt to change and be coachable with a sustainable drive to make things happen
+ Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently
+ Highly organized, focused individual with demonstrated relationship-building skills that extend to internal team members during and after the sale
+ Ability to prioritize and perform effectively under pressure and in a result-oriented environment
