Trump International Hotel Waikiki, Oahu’s only Forbes 5-Star luxury hotel, has an immediate opening for the position of Director of Revenue Management & Reservations – Full Time.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance
Develop overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels
Effectively manage and be in control hotel’s inventory
Responsible for effective implementation and compliance with Trump Hotel Collection Revenue Management Standards and initiatives
Ensure all distribution channels are optimized
Share best RM practices and key learning’s with peers and management
Play a leader role on the property’s weekly RevMax meetings
Produce accurate forecast on monthly basis (+/-5%)
Work closely with sales and marketing team on strategy, tactics and analysis
Oversee annual budget process
Present budget and annual review to corporate leadership team
Manage all Online Travel Agencies (OTA)
Manage on site reservations team
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
Synxis central reservations systems knowledge is an advantage
Knowledge of Opera PMS is imperative
To fill this position the candidate must have strong leadership and analytical skills
Be proactive in achieving Rooms Revenue goals
Relevant experience in Revenue Management. Hotel Sales experience a plus
Detail orientated and hands on
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Effective ability to supervise, motivate, train and develop associates
Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
Ability to train people and convey complex systems functionalities to a broad audience
Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, enthusiasm and be a motivator
Ability to investigate systems malfunctions or user-input errors
Knowledge of industry-specify terminology such as ADR, RevPAR, on-the-books, etc.
Ability to adapt to a frequently changing market environment.
Be proactive and able to “think outside of the box”
Ability to work under pressure
High level of writing proficiency is a must
High school or equivalent education required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management, including electronic distribution
Previous hospitality experience preferred
Experience with revenue management reports and market performance reports
Licenses or Certificates
Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.
All associates must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per TIHW standards.
