Our Client is looking for a STAR to lead and manage the healthcare team
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the day to day responsibility of the nursing department
Responsible for recruitment, performance management, orientation and training
Conduct resident admission assessments and monitor ongoing resident needs
Collaborate with residents, families, physicians and other team members to ensure high quality nursing care
Maintain resident and family satisfaction by addressing any concerns
Participate as part of the management team
Requirements:
Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with current registration with the CNO
Experience working in the Retirement industry, LTC or home health care
2 years Supervisory experience
Knowledge of current IPAC policies and procedures
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the Retirement Homes Act and other relevant legislation
Hospitality experience an asset
Computer proficiency
