We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Deep knowledge of system architecture, technical design, and system and software development technology.
  • Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investment decisions.
  • Advise, counsel, and educate executives and management on opportunities to leverage technology to effectively meet business goals.
  • Keep abreast of new technology and technology trends as they apply to business needs
  • Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial and human resources in IT applications including staffing, sourcing, purchasing and in-house development.
  • Review software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale.
  • Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities, including government, vendors, and partner organizations.
  • Assess and communicate risks associated with IT application investments.
  • University degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or business administration.
  • 12+ years of experience managing and/or directing within the Information Technology field.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • 7+ years ERP Experience (ideally with SAP)
  • 10+ years of experience developing business intelligence strategy.
  • Experience with software development.
  • Experience with offshore development and support resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in executive interaction and building personal and departmental credibility.
  • Considerable knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations.
  • Experience planning and assessing opportunities to address business needs with technology.
  • Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.
  • Proven experience in IT planning, organization, and development.
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems.
  • Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proven leadership ability; build a compelling vision.
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
