The role seeks a design leader with a passion for detail and an exceptional eye for design. Reporting directly to the Design Innovation Executive, your average day may include: Coordination and management of project design initiatives and deliverables, in support of and taking lead from the project teams and executives;Managing and driving the internal Bosa Visioning Process;Participation in brainstorms and ideation sessions;Setting standards and owning direction of interior design, product aesthetic / functionality and design innovation;Coordinating and managing stakeholder buy-in and approvals;Integration and ownership of customer and market insights into design driven decisions;Design innovation as it pertains to product development;Ownership of the Bosa Design Principles and adjacent and complementary standards;Briefing and managing design and construction professionals;Participating in project team meetings and coordination;Creating briefs and reports related to project direction and product research;Design presentations to stakeholders and Executives;Staying up to date with design and industry trends;Gathering and generate copy, precedents, images and graphics used for all internal and external presentations, reports, briefs and deliverables;Participate in research and data collection specific to projects;Collaboration with stakeholders to drive design direction and brand consistency;Preparation of schedules, workflows and budgets;Self-prioritizing projects and working with milestones and deadlines;Coordination of design related activities;Support of corporate initiatives, as required;Support of the Executive team, as required.The ideal candidate for this position is a leader that is creative and organized. Resilient, flexible and know how to work in a corporate environmentAbility to take the lead on design initiatives and full ownership of design decisionsCan work autonomously but working in a collaborative team is equally important to youGet buy-in from stakeholders and ExecutivesPositive collaboration and stakeholder managementPositive, upbeat and easy going, ready to acquire new skills and absorb knowledge at every step of the learning process.Passionate about good design.Our Must HavesPost-secondary education in a discipline relevant to design or related discipline;Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in design and related project management;Leadership experience in managing teams and projects;A portfolio of work produced and managed, graphic and text based; (portfolio will be requested as part of interview process);Proven track record of managing and delivering complex design projects;Ability to set up and manage design systems and protocols;Site knowledge and ability to work with executives, designers and construction;Ability to lead creative workshops and design charettes;Ability to produce and working with project research, insights, customer and market data;Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), preferred but not essential;Experience in SketchUp and any other 3D architectural tools, preferred but not essential;Strong computer skills and an excellent knowledge of MS Office programs;Ability to work with graphs, financial, market, customer and insights reports;Excellent communications and writing skills;Exceptional design aesthetic and sense of proportion; ability to communicate concepts and support design decisions;Confidence to make decisions, humility to compromise, ability to work within a team;Ability to stay organized, be resourceful and anticipate need.Your RewardsOur most important offering to anyone that joins the Bosa Properties team is our culture of innovation, achievement, and ownership.
