Job Description:

The Director will lead the Data & Analytics Centre, which is one of the core organizations of the Customer Experience Excellence (CEE) division. This role reports directly into the Sr. Director of CEE and is part of the CEE and Sales & Marketing Leadership Teams.

Janssen Canada recently announced a major initiative to lead change in the Canadian Healthcare market. The vision behind this initiative is for Janssen to evolve from being the market leader that delivers valuable medicines and services to the market, to the leader that also delivers sustainable and measurable health outcomes for patients. The CEE division, the Data & Analytics Centre, and this role will play a critical part in realizing this vision for the Janssen Canada organization.

Major Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

+ Responsible for talent acquisition and development across D&A Centre teams (Customer Research & Analytics, Data & Platforms, and New Business)

+ Lead D&A managers in the management of workflow and priorities across D&A Centre teams.

+ Effectively collaborate with other CEE leaders to ensure that the data & analytic infrastructure effectively supports our patient innovation agenda and operational requirements.

Data & Analytic Strategy: Development and Implementation

+ Develop Data and Analytic strategy and implementation plan aligned to Janssen Canada key initiatives and needs arising from the business.

+ Collaborate with IT organization to bring data/analytic ecosystem to life.

Leadership Team Participation

+ CEE LT: Work with the CEE leadership team to set the direction of the CEE division.

+ SMLT/SMMALT: Shape the sales/marketing strategic direction related to the go to market plan, business tracking metrics, and insights generation processes.



+ Business/IT/Life Sciences Degree

+ Graduate degree with an analytic specialization is an asset

Experience and Skills:

+ 10+ years management-level healthcare industry/consulting/project management/IT/analytics/data science experience

+ Knowledge of syndicated data and systems supporting the pharmaceutical industry

+ Experience with Project Management/Process Excellence is an asset

+ Knowledge of broader pharmaceutical industry functions (Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory) is an asset.

+ Experience developing data/analytic ecosystems through a complex corporate environment is an asset.

+ Knowledge of advanced analytic techniques and how to leverage these techniques for business impact is an asset.

+ Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) including the ability to understand and present complex processes clearly and concisely. Bilingualism an asset.

+ A demonstrated capability across the Lead, Shape, and Connect Leadership Imperatives. Specifically highlighting an ability to Lead (team and process leadership), Connect (partner internally and externally) and to SHAPE (application of data to support innovative solutions)

+ Highly developed computer skills

+ Ability to manage multiple demands within timelines
