Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Director, Corporate Accounts to be responsible for prospecting, proposing, and selling Applied Systems products and services to large brokerage prospects, insurance companies, and specified named clients in our Canadian market space. Utilizing your previous experience working in an insurance brokerage, , you will apply a consultative sales approach to create account plans and deliver solutions to clients which meet their business need and provide them with the utmost levels of satisfaction. You will be relied upon to anticipate and manage problems that may delay purchase decisions by developing an in-depth understanding of each client’s organization, products, services, business/technical needs, and daily operational challenges. You will be responsible for developing and increasing sales with enterprise-level accounts, including meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Ideally, we are looking for candidates available to work out of our Montreal, QC, office.RESPONSIBILITIESCompress sales cycle by working with those charged with developing product value analyses and purchase justificationsDisseminate customer needs and the penetration strategy and tactics to bring alignment to company product road maps and sales and marketing activitiesGather market feedback on product performance, industry trends, competitive products, and strategiesDevelop and manage strong relationships within each customer’s functional department management and upper management levelsSupport the company’s goals and values; establish an excellent working relationship with new and existing clients continuously striving to improve the business relationship and level of overall service being providedProvide monthly sale projections to the Vice President, SalesQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5 years of insurance industry experience or equivalent, including at least 3 years working within a medium or large insurance brokerage; exposure to Applied Systems products and/or similar products highly desired5 years successful sales experience; consultative/solution sales experience in technology highly desiredExcellent demonstration, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsExcellent knowledge of all products and services; market and competitionSolid time management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize projectsAble to commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goalsAvailable for up to 50% travel in all provincesA valid driver’s license and safe driving record is requiredAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc., preferredBilingual (English/French)WHO WE ARELEADING GLOBAL PROVIDER OF CLOUD-BASED INSURANCE SOFTWARE- Applied Systems develops the top two Insurance Agency/Broker Management software products in the world.
