At Fraser Health we have a Director level role located in Chilliwack General Hospital. This positon will allow you to combine your leadership skills and your clinical knowledge to support the provision of health care to the community of Chilliwack, BC.

As Director, you will be a leader of a team that is passionate about caring for a diverse population. Pivotal to your success in this position will be your confirmed skill in navigating change management and leading in a unionized environment.

Partner with physicians and clinical and support leaders as you play a key role in the system design, implementation and sustainability of clinical programs supporting the Fraser Health Strategic Operating Priorities.

Chilliwack General Hospital (CGH) is located in the City of Chilliwack, the largest community in the hospital’s local health area (LHA) which includes smaller communities of Yarrow, Vedder, Sardis, and Rosedale. About l 00 kilometres east of Vancouver, and situated between Abbotsford and Hope LHAs, Chilliwack LHA is bound by the Fraser River to the north and the US border to the south.

CGH is a community hospital, whose role is to provide primary, core secondary, and some specialty services.

This is your opportunity to:

    •Develop strategic and operational plans •Form partnerships within a network of Regional programs, centralized services, hospital sites and community health service areas. •Support operational leaders by removing barriers to the development of a culture of patient-centred care across the health care continuum.

We are looking for you to have:

    •Master’s level of education in a field related to health care management; •Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of progressively more responsible leadership experience.
